Students’ reports – Spain

My Week in Poland

First of all, I want to say to the teachers thank you for that amazing week on Poland. In that week, we met a lot of people from different countries. This travel has allowed me to met new friends and fantastic people. I have learnt different things of  different cultures, which is very important to me. This travel was the first time I went out of Spain, and I am going to repeat it. I made a lot friends from Greece and Poland and I am going to visit them as soon as I can.

In conclusion, this travel has allowed me to know how people of another countries think about Spain and the people who live here; but for me the most important moment in this mobility was when I met my new friends.

I was very nervous and with a lot of different feelings about meeting again with my Polish friends and meeting new ones. When we arrived in Poland, all our host families where there waiting for us. My family was really kind and I was like in my house. For all the week they prepared typical Polish food, and it was delicious. The first day we met  the Greek students and we went to the Salt Mines, they were very beautiful and we laughed a lot there.

When we arrived with our host, my family showed me the village it had a very beautiful castle. For all the week we did a lot of activities and i really enjoyed with all of them. We visited Krakow a lot of times for going to the shopping center and for buying souvenirs, we went to a jumping centre, we also met all of us after the activities and we had a great time.

On thursday we visited Auschwitz and a lot of feelings and sadness came to us. We didn’t expect all those terrible things. We learned a lot about history there, and we all hope not to repeat that inhuman thing.

When we arrived Skala again some of us meet again. The last day we had a great party. After all that incredible week, the day of going back to Spain came. I was really sad for leaving  my new family and all my awesome friends, but really happy of choosing Poland. I’m so grateful to my host family for everything and i hope to see them soon.

The week in Poland has been the best experience of my life so far. Since the first day my family made my week easier, they helped my in everything they could and they were very nice and lovely. I love mi host girl, she was amazing and we are planning to see each other again, so I hope it will become true. I think that even my mind had the moment of rest it needed. Also  it helped me to find out that I share my day a day with fantastic  people. I am very grateful to have been part of this project and to have chosen the trip that I chose.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………When we landed I was very nervous, I didn’t know the family, so the first night was strange. the brother of my host was watching me through a little hole of the door. The nervous appear other time when I went to the airport to bring the Greek student. The rest of the week was fantastic, one of the best of my life.

When I asked to go and I did the exams I wasn’t completely sure to go but in the moment when you say goodbye to your families and the bus arrive… This moment is when you are sure to go. I invite everybody to live this experience because it’s unique  and the best in my opinion.

Travelling to Poland was awesome!

At first I was a little nervous but excited. It was the second time I travelled abroad and I was anxious.

Once there, all those nerves went away. I had been thinking about how the family could be: rude, kind, apathetic… but when I saw Kuba’s mother I realized that i couldn’t have a better family. When we arrived home, his sister and father were waiting for us. Everyone was very pleasant.

The following day the Greek girl came and as soon as I met her we connected; it was as if we had known each other forever, we were like sisters.

I didn’t have high expectations about the project, I just wanted to be surprised. And they got it!

I met many wonderful people with whom I still keep contact. One of the most important things I learned was that I knew more about new customs and traditions.

I was also scared about the kind of food they ate, but the truth is that it was all delicious.

In short, up to now, it has been the best experience I’ve ever had. I had a fantastic time all the week. I’m glad I had chosen the trip to Poland.

I will always have a good memory about this trip, because I learned a lot of new things about the Polish people, their food and also their culture in general. I met new people from Greece and I was very well with my host family. I liked all the activities but the most was Auschwitz and Krakow.

My impression from the trip was fantastic for three basic reasons.

The first reason was that I was very comfortable with the boy that hosted me and we spent a great time together.

The second reason was that I learnt many things from Poland, actually the culture of the country was very curious.

And finally the last reason was that I met new friends of two different countries.
