2nd Transnational Meeting
Iraklion May 2019
We planned a guided tour to Knossos home of the Minoan civilization, one of the first in Europe.
We also visited the Archeological Musem of Iraklion, second only to Athens in Greece and had a guided tour of the exhibits.
We visited a mountain region, Anogeia, famous for its unique way of life and enjoyed the change of scenery – from the sea to the mountains all within a one hour drive – and the excellent local food.
Local food was on the table every day as each morning concluded with a joined lunch for students and teachers.
Finally, foreign students had a change to visit Cretaquarium, housing species of fish common in the Mediterranean sea.
